Question: Having some anxiety .. Doc said try klonopin .5mg and take 1/2 or one pill once a day see how i feel . I took a half a few days ago it didn't do anything. Then two days later I tried again I took a half and felt very jittery add more nervous. Brief Answer:
Please consider going for therapy as permanent fix

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome again at healthcaremagic.
I understand your concern and problem you are encountering because of anxiety.

In my view going for therapy is a better option for you if you are not able to tolerate medication. Generally benzodiazepines do not make one jittery and if this happens that is called paradoxical effect of benzodiazepines. Person who develop paradoxical effect with benzodiazepines show good response with therapy and I hope that will be best solution for you provided you find a right counselor in your city .

In case you already tried therapy or no counselor available in your town, option of SSRI or SNRI (antidepressants) can be explored as they have no addiction potential like benzodiezepines.

The half life of klonopin is around 20 hours and it will leave your body completely in around four to five half lives (4-5 days).

I also like to inform you the pulse rate upto 90 (few suggest 100) is absolutely normal and there is nothing to worry with your pulse rate.

'Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help".
Thanks
