As both anxiety and improper sleep are interlinked.

if you are anxious you will not get proper sleep and irregular sleep pattern will influence your routine physical as well as mental ability.

in ayurveda very good treatment procedure are available to treat anxiety and sleep problems.

I need certain queries to be answered from your end to guide the treatment.

1. How long she suffers from this problems?

2. whether she got any psychiatric problem in past and present?

3.any other medical issues currently?

4.occupation/lifestyle/food pattern routine in a day?

5.weight an height?

1. How long she suffers from this problems?
For the past 6 months
2. whether she got any psychiatric problem in past and present?
No but she has got fear for darkness

3.any other medical issues currently?
No



4.occupation/lifestyle/food pattern routine in a day?
House wife for the past two months,balanced diet and healthy lifestyle

5.weight an height?
60 and 164 cm


6. Any other social or family issues?
No

7. any recent investigation done? kindly share.
Taking Himalaya medicines such as mentat and Tagara for anxiety


8. pattern of sleep? duration of sleep?day or night sleep?
Night sleep, 8 hours
No proper sleep for past 2 days

Also she is not interested to go with any English medicines. Prefers only Ayurveda and comfortable with Himalaya medicines.

She has frequent right eye twitching and during anxiety attacks she feels stuttering on her lower back which radiates to the head. She had taken epidural analgesia during her child birth.

I appreciate your concern.

In Ayurveda generally, increase in vata will result in anxiety and sleep problems.

As internal medication,lifestyle management and doing yoga and meditation will help her to get relief from the above problems.

medication
Continue the same current (Himalaya )medication along with the below prescribed medication.
1.     Manasamitra Vati dosage: 2 tablets at bed time. after food.
2.     Brahmi ghritam- 5ml twice a day. After food.
Both available in Kottakkal – XXXXXXX Vaidya Sala
External application: Aswagandhabalalakshadi Tailam 100ml- apply it in the head and take oil bath on Tuesdays and Fridays.Avoid day sleep and fried and heavy food on that day.

Take a warm bath. Before going to bed on the other days. Apply ghee on the foot and gentle massage before going to bed.

Diet:

Kindly avoid sugar, caffeine, carbonation, cold/raw or frozen foods .
vegetable soups can be taken.
Steamed rice and green gram,buttermilk and leafy vegetables and sweet fruits can be taken. cow milk can taken in the night.
. Drink warm water instead of ice water.

Yoga and meditation: yoga and meditation will help in a great extent to overcome anxiety and sleep problem.

Meditating, eating, exercising at the same times from one day to the next, can have immeasurable good effects on health. Wake up and go to sleep at the same time each day. If routine is all you change, you will feel a difference in mood and overall health.
• Read a book or do some repetitive, calm activity such as chanting a mantra XXXXXXX etc.
• Make your bedroom comfortable.Create a quiet, dark atmosphere. Use clean, fresh sheets and pillow and keep the room temperature comfortable.

overall To balance Vata, gradually introduce regularity into your lifestyle. Eating, sleeping, working, and exercising at the same hours promotes harmony.
