Suggest Treatment For An Allergic Reaction To An Insect Bite

Question: Something bit me on my left arm when I was taking out the garbage last Mon. Two small pin size marks. Since then my arm has been really itchy. Kept me up last night. No other symptoms.

There is local erythema which is usually see in insect bites. Since there are no other symptoms but itching, continuing Benadryl for three more days would suffice.

Most of the insect bites elicit an allergic response, some of which may persist for weeks. A antihistamine like Benadryl for 3 to 4 days is the solution.
