Brief Answer:
Spot baldness and management

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr. XXXXXXX

Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and following points are worth considering:

1. alopecia aerata is an autoimmune disease in which your body cells mistakes your hair follicle to be foreign and thus making them weak and falling out, causing bald patches.
2. since affected hair follicles are not destroyed, they are capable of making normal hair again if the immune reaction goes and the situation returns to normal.
3. make sure to exclude other autoimmune disease like thyroid/blood disorders, vitiligo with relevant examination and investigations.
4. was any opinion of Trichologist seeked for any fungal infection, [also androgenic alopecia [for hereditary], alopecia aerata [for bald spots] and telogen effluvium [ for stress related] are common hair thinning conditions at your age], you can also ask for scalp biopsy and related blood tests to find out any other autoimmune disease.
5. oil of recini has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties can prevent the growth of microorganisms like bacteria and fungus which can affect your scalp’s health and thus it can prevent bald patches and hair loss.
6. preventive aspect is given below:
. avoid oily, spicy, fried, and left over food.
. avoid too much exposure to heat, dry and windy climate.
. avoid Stress and have a good sleep,
. massage lightly with Mahabhringraj oil at night (before retiring to bed) [to stimulate hair follicles]
. make less choice for synthetic hair oils, hair coloring, bleaching, styling and use of dry blowers.
. Avoid excessive exposure to sun, heat, wind, dust, anger, stress, anxiety,
. Avoid oily, fried, spicy, hot, fermented and stale food.
. Proteins are essential for antibodies production so milk, egg (white), beans, yogurt, soymilk, pumpkin, squash, watermelon, peanuts, almonds, if non-vegetarian (meat) are choices [Because hair are made primarily of protein, this will help thinning hair to be healthier.]
. XXXXXXX carrots, cantaloupe, egg yolk, apricots, pumpkin, papaya, are ideal
. Vitamin C: is needed for proper functioning of immune system: amla is good option.
. Vitamin E: is a powerful anti oxidant thus peanuts, dried apricots, cooked spinach, taro root can be taken.
. Soap nut, alongwith shikakai+bhringraj and XXXXXXX acts as natural conditioner.
. take multivitamin containing biotin, zinc, iron along with healthy diet.

PS.
1. If a close family member has the disease, the risk of developing it is slightly increased .
2.initially we have to start with Immunomodulation [Rasayan Chikitsa] Treatment

Brief Answer:
possible Tinea barbae

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mr. XXXXXXX

Thanks for reverting back with possible concerns and photographs.

1. going through your snap shots, It’s very likely that you have only partial hair loss, your hair will grow back fully within one to two years. However, for some people it can take many months or years. [since the condition doesn't permanently damage your hair follicles, so even if you have hair loss in any one area for a long time, your hair may still grow back.]

2. your doctor may look at a hair or skin sample under a microscope. This test is called a KOH preparation, if the treatment isn't working, your doctor may do a skin culture to find out what kind of fungus is causing the problem.
PS. Wash your beard once a month with a shampoo that contains selenium sulfide. [e.g: Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment]

3. As mentioned earlier ask opinion of Trichologist for any fungal infection, go for thyroid function tests, blood for hemoglobin and iron deficiency.

4. it’s important to take care to apply sunscreen to the areas of hair loss if you’re outside in XXXXXXX weather, use a broad spectrum sunscreen which protects your skin against both ultraviolet A (UVA) and UVB rays.

5. I'll be only in position to specify medicines, unless the opinion and reports [described] are furnished [duly examined and investigated]

PS.
You may ask for effective Prescription Medicines like:
. Trichup Oil & Capsule [VASU]
. Scurfol lotion [ATRIMED]
. For Immunomodulation start taking Amalaki Rasayana, Chayawanprash avleha.
