Question: My mothers legs have become beet red and tight, tender to touch. She looks swollen. She is also deep red on her chest and belly and blotchy red elsewhere. She started cardizem 240 extended release before breakfast and norvasc 10 mg at bedtime on march 5th. She has afib and has recently stopped eliquis due to allergic reaction and started 81 mg aspirin. I tracked todays meal, nutrient consumption. Shes only had 774 mg of sodium. She has no appitite and gags when she begins to eat. Shes also constipated. Shes only had 40 oz of fluid today. Is a trip to er warrented?

Brief Answer:
Your mother has severe allergy and acidity

Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to Health care magic,
Your mother has severe allergy and acidity due to one of the drugs/or something she ate.
Please give her ---
Fexofenadine 120 mg in the morning, Benadryl 50 mg at night and Omeprazole 20 mg twice a day---for a week.
If she does not improve in a day--take her to ER.
If she improves, schedule an appointment and see your doctor to find out the cause.
You can revert back.
