Brief Answer:
Due to hematoma caused by fracture.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The appearance of the bruise in the area is suggestive of bleeding- hematoma inside which is a normal finding in case of a fracture. The swelling and bruise will gradually fade away on its own. in case there is an increasing pain in the arm or the bruised area then an infection needs to be ruled out after a direct examination.
I hope this answers your query.
