Suggest Treatment For A Bruise On The Face After A Fall

default
Posted on Tue, 5 Jul 2016
Question: My 2 years old daughter fell on her face from the bed to the hard wood floor. I didn't see any big bruise but she was crying a lot and very fussy. I asked her where was the pain and she said nose. After about 30 mins, she calmed down a little bit and asked for milk. She was crying a little bit while she was drinking the milk then she fell asleep. What should I do now? Should I take her to see the doctor tomorrow? What are the symptoms should I look for? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Be vigilant, and consult if required

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Sorry, to hear about the fall.
The impact seems not to be serious and injury is most likely over nose or face.
Is there any swelling, bruising, bleeding from nose, ear, mouth, any loss of consciousness, seizures, vomiting?
Look for any vomiting, drowsiness, excessive crying, seizure?
Consult doctor in case of such symptoms.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
