Brief Answer:
Need details...

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

I am Dr Thakker and shall be answering your question. I can understand your concerns about your health. I will try my best to help you out.

Walking pneumonia is a variant of pneumonia also known as atypical pneumonia. It is caused by atypical organisms like mycoplasma, RSV, chlamydia etc. The symptoms are not as severe to keep the patient at home hence its called as the walking pneumonia. it is not a very serious disorder and very much treatable.

I would like to know the details of symptoms you have:
- History of cough/ expectoration, duration, colour of expectoration?
- History of fever?
- History of breathlessness?
- History of chest pain?

Can you be able to list the test performed and the treatment given yet.

I order for X ray chest and cold agglutinin test done along with a complete blood count. Most of my patients responded well to macrolide group of antibiotic for duration of 7 days for treatment.

You can be rest assured, don't worry about it. you will be fine soon, once you have taken the right antibiotic for 7 days.

I hope this helps you out. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to write back to me.

Yours sincerely,
Dr. Thakker.
