Question: OMG I certainly hope so. I will try to make this as short as possible. I have been sick since the last week of Nov 2016. At that time I was diagnosed with a severe UTI which showed blood in it when looked at under the microscope and I was told by the Dr if I had waited one more week it would of been septic. So starting on Dec 7 2015 my Primary Dr started me on ciprofloxacin 250mg 2per day for 5 days. As soon as I completed the prescription I knew the UTI was not cleared up. I called my Drs office and they told me that I would have to wait a few days to come back in. Unfortunately I didn't get back until 12/21/16 due to the fact that my GP is 40 miles from my house. at that visit they did another urine sample which came out positive and my Dr's Office telling me that they receive back the report from the lab where they send the sample too. Now I can't remember most of the phone conversation as I suffer with neurological issues that effected my short term memory. Getting back to that call she told me I must get to a so there just happen to be one right accross the hallway from my GP. I got into see him fairly quick. He did another urine test and sent it out and told me if it was positive I would hear from them.By this point I was starting to have this constant pain in my lower abdomen and vaginal area. The Dr on the very first visit was 100% convinced I had Kidney Stones and sent me for a CT scan of the Kidney and the Pelvis the test came back clear. I ended up switching urologist for several reasons. I found a new one that is closer to my house. Just so you know I have many medical condition and I am praying to God the last bit of medical information isn't going to effect everything else. also just so you know I am on 5 different medications. Ok lets just get this over with Had this guy friend who we were lets say friends with benifits. The than I have had sex with no one last time I had sex with him was 4/16 and since then I had sex with no one. well this new urologist last week while testing my urine because I had another urine track infection for the heck of it did a cotton swab of my having servvagina. The test came back and I am having the worst anxiety. I suffer from severe anxiety. ok so this is what Im going to do I am going to just list for you what the lab report said was positive. Also just to let you know I am allergic to penicillin. ok Here we go 1-MYCOPLASMA HOMINIS RT-PCR 2- GARDNERELLA VAGINALIS RT-PC 3- ATOPOBIUM VAGINAE RT-PCR 4- BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS ASSOC B 5- MEGASPHAERA SPECIES TYPES 1

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

I have read your notes carefully. From the notes and lab reports it is clear that you have bacterial vaginosis. Don't worry. It is not sexually transmitted infection.
Consult your doctor and take a course of metronidazole for the infection.
I hope this is helpful.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
