As below:

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. There is very little possibility of reversing the deafness due to Meniere's Disease. However since one of the hallmarks of Meniere's Disease is fluctuating hearing loss, some discrepancy between hearing levels may exist fro time to time.

2. Upload a recent Pure Tone Audiogram (PTA).

3. One way of preventing further deterioration of hearing is to decrease the possibility of more attacks. A salt restricted diet and short term medication such as Diamox (acetazolamide) at the tome of the attacks of vertigo will reduce the severity of the attacks and hence further damage to the hearing.

4. HBOT (HyperBaric Oxygen Therapy) with trans-tympanic steroids, Meniette's Device Therapy are some more options before you consider a drastic step such as gentamicin injections or sac surgery.

5. After examining your PTA, we can discuss further treatment options for the hearing loss and tinnitus.

I hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
