Brief Answer:
protom pump inhibitor group of drugs

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Since you are having Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) which is a chronic digestive disease you can take protom pump inhibitor group of drugs with your doctors advise which will block acid production and heal the esophagus.

You can also maintain a healthy weight, avoid tight fitting clothing, elevate the head of your bed and eat smaller meals.

If fluid is built around heart then echocardiography needs to be done and if it is in large amount then it has to be drained by a cardiologist.

I'm more concerned about the fluid build up around the heart. Is this something that can wait until the following week or do you suggest I go to the ER now. I have never been so concerned about so many things happening. I have had 2 bouts with breast cancer 8 years apart. I had a mastectomy and it came back on the same side. Too much happening. Why am I so weak. I have no energy at all.

Brief Answer:
pericardiocentesis

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I suggest you go to the ER and do an echocardiogram.

An echocardiogram uses sound waves to create real time images of your heart.

With this procedure, a cardiologist can see the extent of fluid accumulated around heart which is called pericardial effusion based on the amount of space present between the two layers of the pericardium.

If fluid is in small or moderate amount then nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs can be taken with doctors advise which will drain the accumulated fluid.

If fluid accumulated is large then a needle is needed to enter the pericardial space and then a small tube called a catheter is used to drain fluid from the pericardium. This procedure is called pericardiocentesis.

The cardiologist will use imaging devices either echocardiography or a type of X ray technology called fluoroscopy to guide his work.

Your heart is monitored during the procedure with an ECG machine.

In most cases, the catheter will be left in place to drain the pericardial space for a few days to help prevent the fluid from building up again.

For weakness u can take protein supplement shakes.
