Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. I think as she is having Ehler Danlos syndrome, other conditions such as depression and fibromyalgia are frequently diagnosed in such patients( symptoms are mainly due to Ehler Danlos Syndrome). There is no cure for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Treatment is palliative. Close monitoring of the cardiovascular system, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and orthopedic instruments (e.g., wheelchairs, bracing, casting) may be helpful. Orthopedic instruments are helpful for the prevention of further joint damage, especially for long distances, although it is advised that individuals not become dependent on them until there are no other options for mobility. One should avoid activities that cause the joint to lock or overextend. In XXXXXXX you can consult Dr C. S. XXXXXXX ( Orthopedician) in XXXXXXX Light exercises will be helpful with special care to avoid injuries. You can get her vitamin D level, if found low Vitamin D3 supplements can be given. For pain relief analgesic can be useful.
You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
