Suggest The Ideal Dosage For Rock Bon Vitanules Taken For Vitamin D3 Deficiency

Question: I have been suffering from low back pain, muscle ache, bone ache, weakness for the last 15 years. Recently, I have been diagnosed as vitamin d3 deficient. Observed value of my 25Hydroxy (OH) is 10.90. Doctor advised me to take Rock Bon Vitanules 60,000 IU once in week for 4 weeks. After taking medicine i have the complain of of headache, body stiffness . Whether daily dose of 5,000 to 8,000 IU of vitamin D3 would be preferable than weekly high dose of vitamin d3. If yes, please prescribe me the suitable medicine for that. An early reply is highly solicited.

I have read your query and understand your concern.
A weekly dose of 60 thousand units is a normal dose and can be continued without hesitation. Considering your low levels of VIT D ,you should take this weekly dose of 60 thousand units for 12 weeks and then you can continue with 60 thousand units every month.
Taking it for four weeks only won't help your cause.
In addition get tested for VIT B12 levels and thyroid function tests also.

First of all thanx for your reply. Considering the impact of single weekly dose of vitamin d3 of 60000 IU on my body can i distribute this 60,000 IU of single dose in 10,000 IU of vitamin d3 per day for 3 months. Waiting anxiously for ur reply.

Hello,
First of all kindly remove this misconception from your mind that a single dose of 60 thousand units is having some adverse impact on your body. It has absolutely no adverse effect. Your symptoms are not due to this dose,however if you feel and like,you can go ahead with 8 thousand to 10 thousand units everyday for next 3 months.
