Brief Answer:
Antispasmodic drugs

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
I understand your concern.
Generally many women can experience some amount of pain during menstrual periods.
Measures that can help in decreasing pain are:
-Antispasmodic drugs containing mefanamic acid or dicyclomine etc can help in relieving the pain.
-Intake of coffee, sugar, salt should be decreased during this period.
-Plenty of oral fluids, easily digestible food along with fruits and vegetables should be taken.
-Strenuous activities should be avoided.
If pain and weakness persist even after following these measures, better to consult your doctor and let your wife get examined to find out the possible cause of her problem.
Examination and ultrasound can help in finding out secondary causes of menstrual pain like small cervical os, pelvic infection, endometriosis etc.
Hemoglobin level estimation helps in ruling out anemia, which can cause weakness.
Take care.
