Suggest Remedy For Persistent Neck Pain With Nausea

default
Posted on Thu, 7 Jan 2016
Question: I've been having neck pain on right side for a few weeks. It has stayed about the same. However, yesterday I had two episodes of 'jagged' vision in the upper field in both sides. I can still 'see' this even with my eyes closed. That has passed, but the neck pain persists and I have slight nausea. Unfortunately, I'm in an area that's isolated by bad weather and probably can't make it in to see my doctor until next week. Is it ok to wait?

Brief Answer:
Neck condition can wait, blood pressure should be monitored.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Neck pain is most likely related to degenative spine disease and this condition could wait till you meet your Doctor.

Episodic vision problems accompanied by nausea instead, need to be evaluated further.

First, I recommend to monitor your blood pressure for a couple of days, if blood pressure values within normal limits, this condition can wait too.

If blood pressure too high (> 140 mmHg), or the vision problems repeat, then you need to see a local Doctor and get evaluated further.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
