Suggest Remedy For Persistent Anxiety

Question: I get anxiety because I'm a college student at the University of Arizona. Consequently, because of my anxiety, I missed an online Final exam... I do not know what to tell my professor "Hey professor, I get severe anxiety and that's why I missed your exam". Is there any way to get an excuse note so that I may have an opportunity to take it?

It is common to have anxiety and miss exam. In fact I have missed one exam during my medical course because of extreme anxiety. It is a valid reason you can use and approach your professor. One has to overcome this anxiety. Here are some tips to help you

1. Preparing well for the test in advance and not cramming right before the exam. I suggest you to make a time table
2. Going through previous exam papers and pattern of asking questions
3. Tab Betaloc can help reduce anxiety to a great extent, you can approach your doctor with my suggestio for a prescription
4. Breathing exercise during extreme anxiety.

I once again state that extreme anxiety is a valid reason for one to skip an exam and it is common among students, you can quote this as a reason to your professor
