Question: 22 year old healthy male. sudden onset of a painful blistery outbreak/rash . shoulder to fingertips. right arm only. 'achy all over'. lethargic. swollen lymph glands in armpit and near elbow.

no fever. no itching. no visible bites. no exposure to poison ivy etc.

From the history and description, you have provided I can two differential diagnoses: Herpes Zoster and Insect bite dermatitis but its difficult to point specific diagnosis in absence of clinical examination.
