I was fine yesterday and this all started this am as soon as I woke up I felt it.. it almost feels as if someone was pressing down on my upper chest, I have never suffered from any mentioned above.

don't worry. you can apply pain relieving ointment (diclofenac ointment)

According to you , you have not any other symptom and the pain started suddenly after waking up. This pain can be due to improper position of your left hand while sleeping. you can take tablet for pain relief. you can apply diclofenac ointment locally for pain relief.
Another cause can be acidity.if you have burning pain in mid chest region, then it can be due to acidity . antacid can help you in that.
i think you need not to worry if the pain is not severe. if the pain is severe and not relieved, then ECG is required and consultation with doctor will help you.
