Based on the information I have at hand, this is what I would recommend for treating your symptoms:

+Tablet containing Montelukast and levocetrizine (e.g. MONTEK-LC), both ingredients below to the new generation of anti-histamines that do not have the side effect of drowsiness which is present with earlier medications. 1 tablet to be taken every morning, 2 tablets can be taken (1-0-1) if required

+Small sips of warm water throughout the day

+Drink plenty of water

+Antibiotic coverage: I understand that in your country you cannot get your hands on antibiotics without a prescription, but I think this would be ideal and may even solve the problem entirely. So if at all you have access to antibiotics let me know, or if you have any antibiotics at home, let me know their names and how many tablets you have of each of them (in order to complete a course)

+Gargling with a mouthwash such as BETADINE mouthwash (available in most medical or grocery stores)

+Flonase nasal spray (2 puffs to be taken twice daily)

+Wear a mask at work if you feel the padding might be causing this, I am sure your seniors won't mind

Thats unfortunate, but surprising at the same time, because anti-histamines are one of the safest category of medications available. And in most countries where I work, they have been made easily available to the public mainly because one cannot always run to the ER during an allergic reaction (as some can be serious), because some serious attacks can even result in fatalities, but not if an anti-histamine were at home.

I am sorry to say the, but when the medical system of a developed country which claims to recognise every threat and neutralise it before it blows up into something more serious, cannot provide such basic necessities to their citizens, it is truly disheartening to medical personnel like me who take time out to help every human being they can for no personal benefit.

I have encountered numerous such examples proving that the health system in the USA, is one of the worst I have ever come across. But please do try and get your hands on some anti-histamines as they will surely help you.
