Brief Answer:
Urticarial skin rash due to medicines

Detailed Answer:
Hi

You are currently on pradaxa which is known to cause urticarial rash .
There are two things which can be done .
You can start with regular course of antihistamines like levocetrizine or loratidine and see if the rash improves .
In case the rash completely goes with antihistamines, then you might have to take pradaxa along with regular antihistamines.
However if the rash persists or increases ,the medicine might have to be stopped or replaced by some other agent .
If at any time ,you develop swelling of lips or eyelids or a difficulty in breathing ,go to an emergency centre soon .

Hope it helps
