Suggest Remedy For Elevated Heart Rate

Question: When I first wake up in the morning, I tend to have elevated heart rate. It feels like my sympathetic nervous system come on high alert bpm in the 90s upon waking. It only happens after a long period of deep sleep. Before I even move or get out of bed my heart is racing. All my echocardiogram/ekgs are normal although one cardiologist suggested slight mitral valve prolapse, another cardiologist disagreed and said eveything is normal. I have low normal blood pressure about 103/70 although when I awaken its usually lower like 88/60. I seem to be breathing normally too, no gasping for air. Any ideas?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

After reviewing your data I would like to say that although your HR is 90 bpm in the morning, it's still within the normal limits and you shouldn't worry. Please keep in mind that this finding is to be expected (i.e it's a normal thing) due to the increased sympathetic activity in the early hours of the morning.

In all person it's seen an increased sympathetic nervous system activity in the early hours of the morning, which is essential for the waking (after sleep) and for the beginning of the new day.

Since your HR and BP is within the normal limits and since all your cardiac examinations were normal you have nothing to worry about.

Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
