Question: My lip has been always chapped in winter time. Mainly one specific area got chapped everytime. Used chapped balm it gone all the time. Recently same thing happened, I used balm and its fine now. But I can feel something extra on that area with very whitish spot. Little itching but not very much. Do I need to worry.

Brief Answer:
Post inflammatory hypopigmentation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for writing to healthcare magic.

White spot as seen in image occured probably during healing of chapped lips as per my opinion.White patch in image does not look like leukocytes and you need not to be worry.

This condition is known as post inflammatory hypopigmentation.

There is nothing to worry about it and it will heal with time.

You may apply placentex gel over it for faster healing.

I hope this will help you.In case of any concern i will be happy to help you.Thanks.
