Question: Following severe Sciatic Nerve pain, I lost power in my legs causing 3 falls with resulting fractures. What would be the cause of loss of power?

Sciatic nerve contains nerve fibers which give power to specific muscles and sensations to specific skin areas which are determined according to nerve roots.
In sciatica , there is pressure on the nerves so the function of nerves is not normal, hence we feel pain , loss of sensation and power loss in muscles. To recover the power and sensation it is necessary to remove pressure from the affected nerve roots.
