Brief Answer:
Try antacids

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Abdominal pain may occur due to many reasons. The location and characteristic is very important to examine the abdomen clinically. The described pain could indeed be due to gastritis or gastroesophageal reflux. Omez [omeprazole] will not do anything to the acid that has already been secreted and some antacid like Digene or Mucaine gel would be required for its neutralisation. That could be the reason for your not getting relief. Try these, and if it still does not help, you will have to see a doctor.

Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be an ulcer but it is on the same lines

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Although the mentioned causes could indeed cause an ulcer, I doubt if that is the case. The pain in case of an ulcer is very severe and often there is vomiting with altered blood present in it. Since that is not the case, you need not worry.
