Question: I have red spots on my left ankle that were itching terribly. So I put Benadryl on for 5 days 2 times daily. But the red bumps are still there, is that normal?

Follow the Advises..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX , welcome to HCM,

I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

Now from your description it seems like you've applied Benadryl cream over the area..

Well it's a bit unusual for a simple allergic rash to persist beyond 5 days, but not impossible..

Please Take Tab Zyrtec(CETIRIZINE) 5mg twice daily for next two days and apply aloe-vera/lactocalamine lotion over the area 3 times daily for next 2 days..you may be needing prescription from your local physician for them..

Be vigilant for the next two days and if it's still persist beyond that then i'd recommend a visit to any Dermatologist for a detailed physical examination of the area..

You can also upload a picture of the area at the reports section so that I can take a closer look at it..

Let me know if your having any further queries..

Take Care
Kind Regards
