I am DR XXXXXXX XXXXXXX and I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.
For how long you are suffering from it? Any other associated problem like dandruff? Do you have any thyroid problem? Any patchy white areas on your body? Any stressful events in life for last two years?
kindly send me the photograph of it so that it can be better appreciated and managed. Hair loss do have remission and recurrences. It has to be look for the cause as well. Treatment is generally not mandatory but only for the cosmetic purposes.
In my opinion you should visit the DERMATOLOGIST once so that it can be clinically correlated well. Apart from it, there are various modalities of treatment . Steriods can be used topically and intra dermal injection that accelerates hair growth in cases where it is associated with atopic dermatitis.
MINOXIDIL 5% spray is also a very good option for it and it has to be used for at least six months to elicit its effect.
Your DERMATOLOGIST will devise plan for you in the light of clinical examination.
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards

Welcome at HCM...
I really appreciate your follow up.
You should continue using Minoxidil spray. It has to be used for long duration minimum at six months.

Meet your dermatologist. Stress is one contributing factor to your hair fall.
Twice oiling hairs in a week would be very beneficial
Please Schedule your appointment with dermatologist.

Hope it helps

Brief Answer:
continue using minoxidil

Detailed Answer:
Welcome at HCM
I appreciate your follow up.
Minoxidil takes time to elicit its effect. Normally it takes minimum of three months to start hair growth. 5% solution should be used. Dose should not exceed 2ml in 24 hours.
There is no scientific data that it stops working. Important thing here in your case is to rule out other causes of baldness.
Continue using minoxidil and meet dermatologist.
Hope it helps
