Brief Answer:
It is psychological ED

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back to me.

I have reviewed your answers and of the opinion that the erection problem is due to psychological factors. As there was no problem in past and erections are spontaneous even today we need to understand that excessive concern over one time failure leading to problem.

Occasional failure is rule of life and erection is no exception. Since it is attached to male ego and other factors, the overthinking about the erection is leading to problem.

In my view it will be appropriate to see a psychiatrist for proper counselling and guidance. He may order some hormonal tests before making a final diagnosis and may prescribe some medication for the problem.

I hope this helps you.
If you have more problems feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
There is need for B12 supplementation

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back to me with reports.

I have reviewed the reports and understand that there is need for vitamin B12 supplementation. It can be given in form of injections containing 1000-1500 microgram of cobalanin every alternate day. (most patients need five injections so the course can be completed in 10 days).

There is also lower range of testosterone which can be increased by increasing the dry fruits and regular exercise. It is important to have healthy life style for restoration of normal testosterone.

Thirdly there is some borderline abnormal report about thyroid profile which needs FT3 and FT4 for clarification.

I also feel that serum prolactin should be done.

Thanks and regards.
