Brief Answer:
It is treatable condition

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

Panic attacks are the anxiety symptoms which commonly occur in patients with bipolar disorder. It is estimated that around 30 % of the patients with bipolar disorder experience panic attacks and sometime considered part of disorder although the symptoms are strikingly different.

Having said this the condition is completely reversible with treatment. It may respond to bipolar disorder treatment itself and in some cases there may be need of additional benzodiazepines for treatment of panic attacks.

I hope this helps you.
