Question: I have anemia and my Dr insists it isn't due to b=12/vitamin deficiency because I'm April of 2016 my b12 was in normal range (my hemoglobin was 5.5) am I wrong to insist that it be tested again before moving into a colonoscopy?

Brief Answer:
Hello. B12 stores last for long

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through your query
So a normal b12 will take years to deplete and there should be some other reasons for anemia
Please go for iron deficiency tests and if positive, then colonoscopy.
Thanks and regards
