Question: Is there any medicine for postponing the dates of period of woman for a single cycle? If so, is there any side effect of that medicine?

Yes you can very well delay your periods just for one cycle by taking tablet norethisterone 5 mg twice a day from two days prior to the date of expected periods till the day you want to delay them for a maximum of 15 days.
It has no long term side effects and is a simple and safe drug but is available only on prescription.
Transiently it can cause nausea, mood swings and slight weight gain which subsides after periods
