Question: Hi Team,

We are planning for kids and My wife is an asthma patient. Currently she has breathing problem due to cold. Is it fine to use Montek LC. If not, please suggest the medicine?

Inhaled treatment consists of inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs are also useful in asthma.
Montek LC is having montelukast and levocetrizine. Montelukast is anti allergic drug. Levocetrizine is antihistamine drug. So no need to worry. Both are safe in pregnancy.
She can take montek LC. No harm in it.

So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
