Question: I am having bad anxiety and my Lorazepam prescription is three years old. Does it go bad, or will I gain any benefit from taking it?

The old lorazepam can be effective if its not beyond date of expiry.

However, even if its beyond date of expiry, it may loose some of its potency. It may be effective in higher than previous doses.

But, I strongly suggest you to keep your doctor informed about your drug intake.
