Brief Answer:
Do Diet and Exercise both.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for the information.

First of all know that weight loss has to be gradual and sustained , if you lose weight fast and then don't continue your diet and exercise , you will gain back the weight that is lost.

Diet plays a vital role in weight loss. Start reducing the calorie intake by 5-10% of your total daily consumption. For example if you are eating 3 chapathis or dosas for breakfast , make it 2 and half. Don't over reduce also.

You should avoid high calorie food like sweets, ice creams, pastries, carbonated drinks, cheese, pizza and meat.

Eat more of fruits , vegetables and drink plenty of water.

Do this for 2 months , after 2 months again reduce 5-10% of your total food intake.

Exercise is very important in weight loss. Start slowly with 15 minutes of brisk walking or jogging and gradually that is every 5 days increase the speed and every 10 days increase the duration by 5 minutes.

This much is actually sufficient if you do it properly and sincerely. But if you need more faster results then you can use medications like Orlistat which causes weight loss. But this medication has to be taken under a doctor's guidance as it has got certain side effects.

Hope this information was useful to you.
