Question: I am on the pill (Yasmin) & got my period about 10 days ago while I was still on my active pills.
I still have my period & Im meant to go on the inactive today?

I have started a new pack already. I skipped the placebo pills and went straight onto a new pack but am still bleeding?

Hi,

It might take 4 days for bleeding to stop.

If it does not reduce by 4 days, you need to start tranexamic acid tablets. I am not sure if they are available over the counter. Hence It is better to see your doctor who can examine you and try to find out the reason for such bleeding. Doctor might perform an ultrasound scan if necessary to identify cause of bleeding.
