Brief Answer:
It will get worsen if not treated

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic .

If vaginal prolapse is not treated then it will worsen further. Since you have tried pessaries the next non surgical options left are oestrogen replacement and neuromuscular electrical stimulation. These don't have 100% result.

If you don't want surgery then you need to try non surgical options and if it improves or remains same then no need for surgery. If it is still worsened then go for surgery.

The surgical treatment for vaginal prolapse depends upon the part of vagina prolapsed . If there is uterine prolapse also then hysterectomy is adviced. If no uterine prolapse then only vaginal defect my be repaired.

Hope I have answered your query . If any further queries are there I would love to help.
