Brief Answer:
Proton pump inhibitors like rabeprazole for long term will be helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Zantac wont be that effective. Taking proton pump inhibitors like rabeprazole along with motility enhancers like domperidone for long term will be helpful.
Avoid spicy, greasy ,fatty and junk foods. Carbonated drinks, coffee and alcohol should be avoided also. Raise the head end more with pillows. Take food at least 2 hours before bed time. These all measures will be helpful.

Put water in the mouth for 15 minutes & spit, after getting up and before bed time. You should also keep water in mouth while bathing.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
