Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX
I had gone through your question and photograph you have uploaded
There is some white patch on the right side of scalp which is not clear in the photograph, Here I would like further information to guide you better like
Since how long you have this problem?
Is it hereditary in your family ( I mean if any of blood relative is having the same problem?)
Are you having dandruff or itching in your scalp

Your doctor prescribed you the right medicines which only works better when you don't have the family history.

In my opinion you should take well balanced diet with all essential nutrients, avoid direct sun exposure, keep your hair clean and moist .

You should take multivitamin and minerals supplements

Please write back to me with these details so that I will be able to tell you even more precisely.
Waiting for your reply
Best wishes

I have been having the issue since the age of 21. My family, both from father's and mother's side, have severe baldness. I have been treating since 2013, in the initial days the medication was helpful to reduce hair loss, but since the last 6 months it is not that effective and I am losing a lot of hair since then.

I had dandruff and itching but since i started using the shampoo prescribed by the Doc i am free from it.

Brief Answer:
Hair transplant is recommended

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome again and thanks for the details

Since you genetically determined baldness so you will not be able to prevent it with the medicines.

If you are really concerned for your hairs than you can go for hair transplant therapy which has good long term results.

With the help of medicines you will only be able to delay hair fall but you can't stop it.

Hope you will find my response informative and helpful
Wishing you good health
