Question: Please help I have had regular periods every 27 to 30 day cycles. I have been off my period for 6 days and I am spotting. I am worried as I am trying to conceive. I last had intercourse 5 weeks ago and had a period that was lighter than usual. I have been using clearblue connected ovulation test which shows ovulation. What's wrong with me? I worry with the spotting I will never conceive. Thank you

Brief Answer:
It can be due to mild hormonal disturbance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concerns.

The spotting that you are having after the periods is likely to be due to a mild hormonal disturbance. This can be corrected with the help of progesterone containing pills.

You can consult your gynecologist and get proper hormonal pills prescribed. This will improve in 1-2 cycles and then you can try for conception again.

Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow-up queries that you may have.

Wishing you good health.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Ovulation can happen.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The mild spotting can be due to mild hormonal variation. This can be sorted out with medicines. No need to worry. Ovulation is possible in this cycle also. You can use a clear blue test for it.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
Hormonal disturbance likely.

Detailed Answer:
If it is bleeding more then it is likely to be a hormonal disturbance causing the irregular periods. You can consult your gynecologist and get hormonal pills prescribed to have regular periods. Once the periods become regular then you can try again for conception.
