Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I have read your concerns.
The endometrium on day 25 of cycle is usually more than 7 mms.
Endometrium of 5 mms thick is a bit of concern, if you are planning pregnancy.

Since how long have you been trying for pregnancy. A woman’s chances of pregnancy reduce after the age of 35. Have you consulted Gynecologist.
What is the FSH and AMH level. I hope your partner’s semen test has been done.

I will be happy to answer your further concerns.

I had a strange period last month only had 3 days of spotting but came on when I should have I am due any day. FSH is 7.2, I am unsure of AMH and husband semen is good. I am just planning on conceiving. This doesn't mean perimenopause does it? I am thinking of having acupuncture what are your thoughts please?

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sometimes the periods can vary. It does not suggest perimenopause. The FSH value is good.

The quality of eggs also declines with age. Therefore if you have been trying for pregnancy for more than 6 months, it would be better to consult infertility specialist.
I have no knowledge about acupuncture.

If you have further concerns, do write to me.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sorry for the delay in replying.

The endometrial thickness may vary with each cycle, which needs to be monitored.
There are medications to increase the thickness of the endometrium if it remains thin.

What is of concern, is the quality of eggs. Although people do conceive spontaneously at this age, it does not happen often. That is the reason I earlier asked you to consult infertility specialist.
I do not know whether you believe in God. Have faith in God and try.

If you have further concerns I will be happy to answer.
