Question: As per blood test report, my brother aged 41 years is having Hepatitis B Surface Antigen, Serum S/N as 3100.00 Positive. As per ultrasound report, a 21.7 x 15.8 mm echogenic SOL is seen in subcapsular location segment VI and final impression as 21.7 x 15.8 mm hepatic haemangioma segment VI.
Kindly explain the severity of the mentioned status and what is appropriate treatment for the mentioned problem.

I have reviewed the latest attachment showing report of HBV DNA.
In the acute phase of the viral infection, it is obvious to get a high range of such parameters which show how contagious the condition is.
It is the progressive evaluation over the period of time, during the treatment is important to monitor the progress of the issue.
So, a single elevated level does not indicate the condition is grave, rather a gradual fall with treatment indicates a good response to management and persistently high or elevating levels despite treatment suggest treatment unresponsiveness.
So far as management is concerned,
If the symptomatic severity is severe with altered vital parameters in clinical examination, the patient may require hospital admission for intensive management.
If the symptoms severity is not that severe, prescription drugs also do well for recovery.
In a nutshell, the pathology is going to take time to recover; he has to be inconsistent follow up with the doctor, strict dietary measures to get back to normal at earliest.
