default
Posted on Wed, 15 Jun 2016
Question: Hi, myself and my girlfriend booked a trip to bali a few weeks ago and she has found now she is pregnant and by the time our trip is ready she would be 15 weeks. Do you think it would be still safe to go or too risky of sickness for a pregnant woman to be there?

Brief Answer:
She can travel at 15 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
At 15 weeks, nausea usually subsides and it is safe to travel if there is no complication. If her first trimester goes well without any problem then she can go ahead with the trip you have planned. Travelling as such is not contraindicated at 15 weeks. Just take care that she takes her vitamins regularly, does not do excessive exertion and takes proper care of her diet.
