Is The HIV RT-PCR RNA Qualitative Test Conclusive At 3 Months Post Exposure?
Question: Hi docotr,
I am XXXX.I had unprotected with girl who status in unknown before 7 months,
My hiv duo test after 6.5 negative.Because of fear , i have taken every 15 days i take
hiv blood tese last 3 months ( almost last 3.5 months, i have taken 7 times test,
all are negative).My question is that can window period is 6 months to 1 year?.I done one
time mistake makes me high worries and anxiety.i plan to take test after 6 months also (i.e
upto 1 year) every 15 days..my doubt is , is continously taking blood test making any
health issue doctor..kindly help me doctor..my marriage also after 3 months?so i worried lot
doctor.Can i go for HIV RT-PCR RNA QUALITATIVE for confirmation test now?Kindly give me
guidence docotor.
