Is Second Dose Of Gardasil HPV Vaccination Safe After 1 Month Of Interval?
Question: I started the Gardasil HPV vaccination last month and I just got my second shot. I forgot that i was suppised to wait 2 months and only went a month until my second shot. Is this something i need to worry about? Is it okay that i only waited 1 month instead of 2?

After thoroughly analyzing the complete situation let me reassure you that there will no be any harm of taking the second dose at an interval of 1 month. Though generally we recommend the second dose at two months but as per CDC it could be given one to two months after the first dose.
The main purpose of giving a gap is to mount a immune response. It could be mounted in 1 month also and the third dose could be given at a gap of 6 months from the first dose. I suggest you to set a reminder for your third dose in prior so that uiu should not forget it. It is necessary to complete the full course of 3 dose.
I again reassure you that there will not be any harm and yiu will get a proper protection if you complete all the three doses.
