Is Scanty Periods Symptom Of Pregnancy?

Question: My daughter is 27, been ttc for 5 months. Her last period only lasted 1 day and was not heavy at all. Her hpt was negative, but she has many pregnancy symptoms, cramping, constipation, emotional, bloated feeling. Could she still be pregnant? Btw, her periods have never been short, and she her periods have always been 5 days long and exactly 30 days apart.

The decrease in the amount of bleeding during the periods is not suggestive of pregnancy. Since her pregnancy tests are also negative the pregnancy is ruled out.
The symptoms that she is having can be related to mild hormonal disturbance or stress and anxiety related to conception. All these are non specific symptoms.
