Question: I have researched that it is possible to transplant an ectopic pregnancy into the uterus and it be successful. Can you all explain this more to me?
Brief Answer:
Not a successful treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The relocation of ectopic pregnancy can be planned only if the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy is made early at less than 5 weeks and needs a major surgery for transplantation. The success rate of such a surgery is very poor as it is very difficult to remove the whole sac. The sac may get injured in the process and chances of miscarriage and congenital anomalies are increased.
This mode of treatment of ectopic pregnancy is not preferred as at such an early stage the treatment of ectopic pregnancy can be done with medicines or laproscopically and a major surgery can be avoided.

I do know that i am less than five weeks.... How do i find a doctor that would attempt this and is it expensive. I have medicaid but i do not want to abort the baby.
Brief Answer:
Not done clinically. Only done as experiment.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Even if you are less than 5 weeks the risk involved in the surgery is too much as compared to the benefits. Since the success rate is very low and the treatment involves a major surgery it is not recommended.
It is too expensive also and an expertise in this field is lacking. You can consult your gynecologist for proper guidance.
Hope my answer is helpful.
