Brief Answer:
Gynecologist examination required

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Emergency contraception is effective in about 90-95% of cases but since your pregnancy test is positive and there have been no period so far it is quite suggestive of contraception failure and thus you need to visit a gynecologist for termination of pregnancy in case you don't want to continue.
Pregnancy termination medicines are prescription drugs and thus not available over the counter so visit and supervision of a gynecologist is a must.

Brief Answer:
It has 5-10% failure rate

Detailed Answer:
I understand your situation but as I told you it can fail in 5-10% cases despite ideal intake pattern and time frame.
Usually urine pregnancy test is 99.7% accurate as per all data so far but in case you want further confirmation can get bHCG levels which has 100% surity.

Can an I pill cause a false positive urine pregnancy result? How long before I undergo a blood pregnancy test inorder to confirm the result? How reliable is a blood pregnancy test? Does a positive urine test declare that contraception failure has occurred? Post medical termination of pregnancy how long before hcg is negative in my blood test result?

Brief Answer:
Blood test is confirmatory

Detailed Answer:
Yes dear urine preg test is quite confirmatory and lack of periods potentiates that you had a contraceptive failure.
Blood test is 100% confirmatory.
Ipill stays in blood till 26-30 hours so that is not related to positive pregnancy test.

Alright, so if I undergo a medical termination of pregnancy, how long will it take for hcg hormone to be out of my system?I have visited a gynaec and she gave me tab mifepristone 200 mg orally. She has asked me to take the other tab misoprostol orally 400mg after 24 hours and another 400mg after 48 hours. However when I read about the drugs online, it is said that the second drug should be taken vaginally as it would be better. I am confused, should I follow the oral order of vaginal? And if vaginal, how many tablets do i insert and after how long after the first drug?

Brief Answer:
Vaginal route is better

Detailed Answer:
Take misoprostol tablets vaginally as it is more effective via that route.
Take 2 tablets of misoprostol 24 hours after mifepristone and next two after another 24 hours.
Vaginal absorption is quick and better.
All the best.

On the pack of tablet its mention to have all 4tablet of misoprostol together after 48 hrs of mifepriston
Which one is better?

Answered by Dr. Manisha Jain (4 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Take it as advised

Detailed Answer:
The one told to you is better and ensures complete evacuation.
Though the difference between two methods is very less.
So take it as advised.
All the best.

Thanx fir your reply!!

So i understand is 2 after 24 hours and remaining 2 after another 24 hours is better.
2-2 method is better than taking 4 all together?
As advised by you
