Brief Answer:
Can be mild hormonal change.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The mild spotting that is persistent after the periods can be due to a mild hormonal disturbance or stress. The brownish discharge suggests old bleeding and is not worrisome. As long as you are having normal periods there is no need to worry. You can have regular intercourse during the fertile days of your cycle (Day 11 to 18) to increase the chances of conception.

I hope this answers your query.

when will the bleeding stop will it stop on it's own and can I have intercourse whilst got this discharge?

I had a missed miscarriage in April last year. I went for my first scan to find the baby had died at 5.5 weeks gestation. I then went to miscarry naturally at week 13.

Over the last 6 months my periods vary between 29 and 35 day cycles. I do ovulation kits which shows ovulation any time from day 14 to day 24. As long as the kits are showing ovulation though the days vary can I safely say that I ovulate? I am 42 years of age and have no children and am trying to conceive I do have a high BMI of 43 but I conceived naturally last year with this BMI

Brief Answer:
Ovulation kits are reliable.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

As long as the ovulation kit suggests that you ovulated then you can safely say that you ovulated. A period duration of 29-35 days is normal. With a high BMI it can be difficult to conceive but it is best to try with the help of OP kits for a year and in case you are not successful then consult an infertility specialist for further guidance. Do get your blood glucose levels evaluated to rule out diabetes that can aggravate an early pregnancy loss.

Hope I have answered your query.
