At third trimester , then daily foetal movements should be more than 10 in a day, so if its less than 10, then it needs to be evaluated for any utero-placental insufficiency leading to a possible growth retardation or distress to the foetus. Please report to your obstetrician for a clinical examination and if required uterine and umbilical doppler studies.
