Brief Answer: The key is to find an excellent surgeon. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. Unfortunately, as you have found out, mismatch between breast size and body frame cannot only look disproportional, it can lead to backaches, general discomfort, difficulty with clothing etc. Yes there may have to be some reduction in the skin for smaller size breast implant however the key is to find an excellent surgeon and if you're not in an area that supports one it certainly is worth the travel. Whether or not you need to have skin reduced will depend on the elasticity of your skin and also to some extent your age and the amount of time that the breast implants have been in place and it may also depend on the technique that was used for the initial breast implant. A good competent plastic surgeon preferably one with some reconstructive experience should be able to help you to get a pleasing cosmetic look more suitable for your body type. I hope everything goes smoothly and you're pleased with the results. I'm sure you feel better. regards,

The implant was installed about one year ago. It was implanted through the crease below the breast. Some discomfort has been experienced with various activities.

Brief Answer: Find the right surgeon.. Detailed Answer: Do you have an additional question? Otherwise I wish you a great outcome and much more comfort. When I said it depended how it was done in part I meant whether it was in front of our behind the pectoralis muscle. Regardless of how the surgery is done whether or not you need to have skin modification you should still have a good outcome. Regards
