Brief Answer:
Repeat scan after 1 week for confirmation of healthy pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) I have reviewed your attached report. Gestational age (ultrasound measured) DOESN'T correspond with last menstrual period date. It is more than 3 weeks lag - NOT normal.

2) At this stage (7 to 8 weeks), yolk sac, fetal pole and heart beat should be visible through Trans Vaginal Ultrasound scan. However, these are ABSENT.

3) Late conception is the ONLY possibility to be ABLE to continue this pregnancy. You should repeat the scan after 1 week to confirm the same. Otherwise, chance of healthy pregnancy is quite LOW in this case.

4) Possibility of MISCARRIAGE is quite HIGH with blighted ovum. Therefore, you will be prepared for the same. In the mean time, you should continue prescribed medications EXCEPT Sysron-N.

In a nutshell, I will suggest you to wait until a week. Repeat scan. You will be able to decide the next steps of action based on next scan report.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Regards,
Dr S Patra
